Working career and education

Graduated at the Faculty of Medicine of the CharlesUniversity in 1976

-        in 1976-1984 dentist for adults and children in Budweis (České Budějovice), Kralupy nad Vltavou, and Prague9. In 1979 he passed the First Degree of the Dentist Postgraduate examination.

-        in 1984-1994 dentist at the Children Dental Clinic of the University Hospital Motol in Prague and also as the attending dentist for other practising doctors of the hospital. In 1987 he completed the Second Degree of the Dentist Postgraduate examination.

-        in 1994 he founds the dental practice at Karlovo náměstí

Professional career

-        in 1976-1984 – dentist for adults and children in the assigned parts of Prague, focused on overall dental and periodontic examination, ambulant dental surgery, reduction of pain during dental treatment.

-        in 1984-1994 – dentist at the Children Dental Clinic at the University hospital Motol in Prague; providing specialized care for children and adolescents – treating consequences of injuries, dental and maxillary anormalies (mostly the congenitaly missing teeth rehabilitation), surgical treatment in local and general anesthesia, treatment of badly cooperating children and developing of prosthetics by children and teenagers.

-        after 1989 – complementing of theoretical and practical education – new materials and techniques for protections of teeth, new aesthetic possibilities, use of intraosseal dental implants

-        since 1994 – complete changeover to treatment using new materials and techniques, developing of aesthetic dentistry, changeover to ceramic materials by bridges and jacket crowns, routine use of intraosseal dental implants, utilize of methods for Guided Bone Regeneration

Personal professional focus

-        since graduation it is oral and dental surgery which he had been developing during work at the Children Dental Clinic of the University Hospital Motol in Prague and since 1993 complemented for intraosseal dental implants  and surgical methods of Guided Bone Regeneration

-        after 1989 thanks to new treatment methods, his focus shifts to maintaining and preserving of natural teeth, functionality and aesthetics.

-        he is member of Czech Dental Surgery Association, Implantology Club of the Czech Republic, member of ITI – International Team for Implantology and member of Academy for Osseointegration
